A late first half surge, and strong start to the second half by Coronado halted the Eagles' shot at back to back victories.

By the start of the fourth quarter, the Mustangs had stretched their lead to double digits. Then it was extended to 16 with a layup by Trey Culver.

The Eagles were able to hang around in the fourth quarter, and cut the lead down to 13 with a basket by Jammie Lockett after an assist by Calvin McGee.

A short time later, Joseph Camps found Darius Bradford for a jumper. That cut further into that Coronado lead.

At the same time the Mustangs were able to waste away the clock, and secure a 55-41 victory.
