Angela Schilling is excited to call Abilene her new home. Her love for science and public speaking
began at a young age, but her passion for meteorology truly took off in high
school.
After graduation, Angela attended Mississippi State University where she was able to get her Bachelor's degree in Geosciences with an emphasis in meteorology. In December of 2010 she landed her first on-air job doing weekend weather and weekday reporting for a station in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Over the past five years Angela has lived in three different states and has covered a wide range of weather.
While in South Dakota, Angela was able to cover numerous blizzards, extremely cold temperatures, and countless thunderstorms. While Angela enjoys forecasting winter weather, she is very thankful to be in a much warmer climate. In her spare time Angela enjoys cooking, playing volleyball, attending church, and spending time with her friends and family.
