The Wylie Bulldogs prevaled Friday night in a match-up with state ranked Monahans.

Because of both teams being ranked, the student section arrived at the game decked out in black, and gave the Loboes the "Silent Nigh Treatment." That means there would be no cheering from the Wylie students until the Bulldogs put ten points on the board.

Of course there would be no cheers when the Bulldogs first got on the board with a basket by Tyler Hicks.

The same could be said on a fast break basket by Mike Lopez.

Eventually the crowd errupted a couple possessions later when Duane Hopper nailed a jumper to give the Bulldogs a 10-0 lead.

Wylie would run out to a 19-0 lead and never look back as they remained perfect in district with a 61-31 victory.
