The play is about a young window cleaner and his rise to the top.
Justin radcliffe of Abilene ISD says fine arts help students develop themselves in ways they might otherwise never experience.
"We focus so much in school on the core curricular things. We really believe that some of those kids out there, their skills lie with performance, lie with some of the ability to read and play music or even just sing and dance," says Radcliffe.
You can catch the full play on the Cooper High School stage next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 with a special matinee on February 2nd at 2 pm.
