World of Wheels Hits Abilene

Updated: January 27, 2013
Millions of dollars worth of shiny, customized cars were on display for everyone to ogle.

There were more than a hundred cars and motorcycles, all privately owned by people who hope to take the best in show prize.

The cars are judged by their overall appearance, quality of the paint, the clean detail of the interior and undercarriage, the motor and even the display.

But for one man, the show isn't just about winning, it's about doing what he loves best.

"I just enjoy it, I've always enjoyed vehicles from a young age. It just continues on," says Philip Fairchild.

More than ten thousand dollars worth of prizes were given out to the lucky winners of world of wheels.
