breaking news
Mostly cloudy conditions this morning will give
way to partly cloudy skies this afternoon.
Highs will be in the mid to upper 70's, however, when you factor in the
wind it won't feel quite as warm. Wind
speeds will be anywhere between 15 to 25 miles per hour, gusting to 30. Cold front swings through the Big Country
and Heartland tonight, bringing light rain along with it. The rain will be light in nature, with less
than a tenth of an inch possible.
Can't rule out a thunderstorm or two, but we're not expecting anything severe. Cold front will be well to our east by
tomorrow afternoon, dropping temperatures as the day goes on. Tuesday will be the windiest day of the week,
with gusts up to 50. Combine high winds
and fairly low moisture, fire danger will be high tomorrow too. We'll stay dry for the remainder of the week
with highs closer to average.
