Webcast: Record Highs Monday, Thunder Storms Likely Overnight

By: Leah Mazzarelli and Chris Sheridan
Updated: January 28, 2013
A foggy start to this morning for areas from Abilene to the east.

Also, unseasonable warmth to be expected throughout the afternoon with temperatures getting close to record highs as soon as the fog and clouds burn off by Monday afternoon.

A dry line will pass through the area overnight tonight into Tuesday and that will bring a slight chance of some t-storms to everywhere from Abilene eastward.

Another warm night tonight, however, a cold front will pass Tuesday and temperatures will be about 15 degrees cooler in the upper 60s.

Dipping to the freezing mark Tuesday night as high pressure builds in clearing out our skies.

Temperatures around normal in the mid 50s by Wednesday and then warming back up to the mid 60s  the remainder of the week under mostly sunny skies.
