Callahan County Burn Ban Re-Instated

By: BCHP News Staff
Updated: January 28, 2013
Callahan Country Commissioners decided to re-instate the burn ban Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather warning for the Big Country for Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m.

The warning is due to high wind speeds and low humidity predicted for a large portion of the area.

Some rain is expected, however, overnight in the Abilene area.
