Updated: January 28, 2013
A new Goodwill store is up and running in the Key City.

The nonprofit opened its third store in Abilene last week, located on Ridgemont Drive, taking over the empty building that used to be "Toys-R-Us."

The organization's president says they're moving toward a different type of look and feel.

The new southside store is taking the place of the South 14 location, which is now shut down.

The goal of Goodwill West Texas is to give jobs to those who face barriers to employment.
