Webcast: Cooler Day Tuesday, High Winds Expected

By: Leah Mazzarelli and Chris Sheridan
Updated: January 29, 2013
So, a few sprinkles moving through the northern half of the Big Country Tuesday morning as a weak line of storms tracks along a dry-line to our north.

As the cold front follows that dry line, winds are going to pick up pretty quickly and will gust up to 55 mph!

Temperatures will end up about 15 degrees cooler than Monday and peak in the mid 60s.

Skies will be clearing Tuesday night and temperatures will dip down to near freezing tonight as the winds start to die down.

Wednesday will be in the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.

By Thursday, temperatures will return to the upper 60s. We stay in the 60s as we head into the upcoming weekend and the precipitation chances should stay out of the forecast through the remainder of the 7-day.
