The Taylor County jail has passed inspection.

The Texas Commission on Jail Standards routinely performs on-site inspections to make sure everything is up to code.

According to the report, there were no deficiencies noted and, in the past year, there have been no escapes or deaths.

The jail, which houses an average of 510 inmates, was inspected over the course of three days in mid-January.
