Friends and family members gathered Wednesday morning for the funeral of one of the victims of the recent series of deadly traffic accidents.

The funeral for 14-year-old Amber Conn was conducted this morning in Stamford.

Conn was a seventh-grader at Paint Creek and was traveling to school with five other students when the driver lost control of the sport utility vehicle.

Two of the other children are still hospitalized.

Just stupid mistakes. Could have been prevented but it seems like no one even bothered to try. When I was a seventh grader I know i would've been smarter than to do something like that...-N.H
