Abilene drug agents captured two people on felony drug-dealing charges.

The officers arrested 29-year-old April Weaver and 29-year-old Nathan Burleson on charges of possession and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

They were captured in a home in the 1700 block of Palm Street in south Abilene.

Police report that they recovered 855 grams of liquid methamphetamine and the equipment for a clandestine meth lab during a search of the home near the McMurry University baseball field.

They are both in the Taylor County jail on the felony charges.

Police say they found the illegal drugs in a child's playroom.
