Two people have been arrested this week and charged with possessing methamphetamine in a drug free zone. They live within one-thousand feet of the McMurry University baseball stadium. According to police reports the pair was putting more than themselves at risk because all the components for a meth lab were found in their home.

April May Weaver and Nathan Burleson were arrested this week with 855 grams of liquid methamphetamine. Not only did they get caught with meth but they were also caught with all the components for a clandestine meth lab. We visited the neighborhood where the house is located, on the 1700 block of palm. Their neighbor told us that she has had problems with them in the past. She also said that not only does she have children in her home, but so did Weaver and Burleson. In fact, that's where the most disturbing fact about this case comes in. All the components for the meth lab were found in a child's play room. Both Weaver and Burleson are in jail on a 25,000 dollar bond.
