Fund Set up to Assist Family of Officer Killed in Recent Wreck

The Anson Chamber of Commerce has set up a fund to benefit the Woodruff family following the death of Taylor County Correctional Officer William Woodruff in the Tuesday evening wreck.

Woodruff's wife, Carla Woodruff, is the office manager for the Anson Chamber of Commerce, and is currently with their granddaughter at the hospital in Ft. Worth.

The account is set up at the First National Bank of Anson, acct # 20815861.

Donations can be mailed to the bank at PO Box 762, Anson, TX 79501, or to the Anson Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 351, Anson, TX 79501.
