Fugitive Arrested for 2008 Murder

Martin Talavera Jr., 25, was arrested in Whitfield, Georgia, Friday as a "fugitive from justice."

Talavera is wanted in Abilene for the May 26, 2008 murder of Albert Cadena.

Two other subjects, William Gagnon and Joe Rangel, have already been prosecuted for the crime.

Talavera will be extradited back to Taylor County at a later time.

No other information is available from this agency regarding the circumstances of his arrest.
