As we enter this first full week of February, it is starting out rather nicely. Today should begin overcast, however as the day progresses the sun should make an appearance and temperatures will be very warm yet again. We should get very close to the 70 degree mark today depending on how much sun we see.

Tonight will begin comfortably, however winds will shift to the north and temperatures will dip back into the upper 30's by tomorrow morning.

A few degrees cooler tomorrow with temps peaking in the upper 60's.

Wednesday we should return to the 70's and also are watching the potential for a few sprinkles off to the east of Abilene.

Thursday and Friday should be nice with temps in the 60's.

Next weekend is our best chance for some rain across the Big Country and it is looking like it will be on Sunday, but we will have to watch the week develop this system.
