Reminder: Autism Luncheon Wednesday: Teaching Families, Educators

Join us for the "Autism Extravaganza" and "Greater Abilene Walk Now for Autism Speaks" kick-off luncheon on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, featuring speaker John Elder Robison. Mr. Robison, a well-known author and lecturer, will share his unique experiences as a person living with Asperger Syndrome.

The annual event, which serves as a workshop to assist families and educators learn more about autism spectrum disorders, will take place at the Hunter Welcome Center on the campus of Abilene Christian University from 9am-3pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. The luncheon will take place from 11am-1pm, and is the kick off to the annual "Greater Abilene Walk Now for Autism Speaks," which will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Abilene Zoo.

There is no registration fee for the event, and a baked potato lunch is included. Please register online at www.esc14.net, session # 015614.
