Seven Boys Teams Ranked, Four Make Top Ten

Updated: February 4, 2013
Out of the seven Big Country teams ranked in the coach's polls this week, a total of four of them made the top ten in their respected classes.

The Wylie Bulldogs continued their dominance in District 2-3A this past week, and once again held on to their spot in the top five of Class 3A.

The Jim Ned Indians (#7) fell slightly in the Class 2A poll this week after a loss to Wall (#9) on Friday night. The Indians weren't the only Big Country team to drop in the polls in Class 2A. The Breckenridge Buckaroos (#13) also stumbled slightly this week.

In Class A Div. I, the Stamford Bulldogs (#24) jumped on spot this week after making their debut in the poll just a week ago.

The Eula Pirates (#3) once again maintained their spot in the top five in Class A Div. II. At the same time the Throckmorton Greyhounds (#13) continue to climb, and inch closer to being the fifth Big Country ranked in the top ten in their class.

In the Small Private School classification, the Abilene Christian Panthers (#3) also remained in the top ten after a convincing victory over Texoma Christian Friday night.
