ACU Student Struck by Car On Campus

Police, firefighters and emergency medical crews rushed out Tuesday morning to help the victim of a traffic accident near Abilene Christian University.

It happened about 9:15 this morning near Campus Court and East North 16.

An ACU student was knocked to the ground by an oncoming vehicle, but not seriously injured in the accident.

Police remind drivers to be aware of people walking near schools and be ready to stop for pedestrians who could step off the sidewalks on the way to and from the campuses.
