Eastland County Pipeline Controversy Continues

The controversy over a 93-year-old pipeline in Eastland County continues as local water districts come together to find a solution before the case goes to trial.
Hanlon Gas Company wants to run natural gas through an old pipeline under Lake Leon, a plan that Eastland city leaders and water districts in the area are strongly opposed to.
Recently, several water districts have been holding meetings to figure out a way to purchase the "right of way" from the gas company in order to force them to route around the lake.
There is a temporary restraining order in place that prevents Hanlon from doing any work on the line.
A civil trial is set for March.
