By: BCHP News Staff
Updated: February 6, 2013
The summer Olympic Games may still feel like just yesterday, but coming February 2014, a whole new set of athletes from various countries will grace the world stage.

The Winter Olympic Games will take place in Sochi, Russia, a country that last hosted the Olympics in 1980.

The games will run from Thursday, February 6, 2014 until February 23.

As it stands, America ranks second in Winter Olympic medals over the history of the games, falling 50 medals short of Norway with a total of 303 medals.

America has a challenge ahead of them, but since improving significantly in the winter games since the 1990's, the U.S. certainly has the potential to top the charts.
