A man who shot at an Abilene apartment with a mother and her toddler inside, may be headed to trial.

29-year-old Michael Felder was arrested last July after allegedly shooting a bullet through the front door of the Las Brisas apartment.

The woman who lives there told police that she was inside with her 1-year-old child.

An officer found Felder in another apartment near South 7 and Leggett.

He had a .357 caliber handgun in his car.

He was indicted Thursday on an aggravated assault charge.
