Wanted Man with Abilene Ties Captured

A man who ran from police last week in the Alameda addition is now in custody. 

It was just after lunch last Wednesday that Abilene police searched Lamesa just west of the Winters Freeway for a wanted person that ran from them.

Some items that he dropped were collected in an alley including a coat he had dropped.

BCH has learned that Fermin Cruz Ocon Jr. has been captured in San Antonio.

He was wanted on felony warrants out of San Antonio and he also has a long record here that included several drug charges and evading charges.
