Newly Renovated Food Pantry Opens at Love and Care

Love and Care Ministries opened their doors to the public to show off their newly renovated food pantry.

The previous pantry was close to 10 years old, and now the ministry has new shelves and counters all donated by the community. The new food pantry opened last week, and everyone at love and care says they're excited to better serve those in need.

"When people come in here, when the homeless come in, the poor that come in, it's for them," said Mark Hewitt, founder and director. "And so, they're going, 'Man, thank you for doing this. This is exciting.' And for us to see the excitement in the folks that we help, that's what it's all about."
