The latest incident happened Sunday. Abilene Police say a man was trying to steal two TVs from the store in North Abilene, when an employee tried to stop him, the thief shoved him to the ground and ran away.

He apparently got away in a brown minivan. The employee wasn't hurt.

Last week, 28-year-old Jason Lozano was caught trying to steal at the South Abilene Walmart.

Employees told police that the man left without paying for some merchandise, and when they tried to stop him, he threatened to shoot the employees.

His charge increased his charge from a misdemeanor theft to a felony.

Police later saw a vehicle that matched the description of the one that the man was driving, and were able to stop and arrest Lozano near the intersection of Ambler Avenue and the Winters Freeway.
