The Abilene High Lady Eagles are getting ready to start their run in the postseason.

Head coach Laura Lange's team is headed to Odessa on Tuesday night in the Bi-district round.

The girls on this team have not playce in a playoff game in high school, so this is new territory for them. The Lady Eagles say they can get the job done when it comes to postseason basketball.

Krista Cook says, "We just we know we are a good team, and if we do what we do in practice then we can beat any team we come to. I think we're a lot more serious about getting the details right. That's something (coach) Lange's always focused on. That's something we are a lot more focused on. Getting our rebounds down, hitting those little shots. I think the seriousness and intensity have picked up a lot."

Abilene High travels west to play for the Bi-district championship. The Lady Eagles take on District 1-5A champion El Paso Bel Air. That's a 6pm tip on Tuesday night.
