Just how high would the price of gas have to go before you stop buying it?

Gas is upwards of $3.35 in Abilene. We took that question to a north Abilene gas station and found that not having gas is simply not an option. Most places in Abilene are selling gas at $3.35 a gallon, but the gas station across from the north side Wal-Mart reaches $3.45 at some points. Although the price of gas may make a dent in your wallet some people are saying it's a commodity they simply can not do without, especially here in Abilene. For one man who is bringing his wife from Throckmorton for cancer treatment, no gas is not an option.

So the question, "How much would gas have to go up until you stop buying?", may not have an answer.
