We received a small fraction of an inch of rain in Abilene Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The Abilene Fire Department reports that the biggest total was .12 of an inch of rain.

That was at fire stations number four and seven, both of which are in northwest Abilene.

Central fire station just west of downtown measured .10 of an inch of rain.

Other areas of the city got less rain. Only a trace of rain fell last night and this morning at the fire station closest to KTAB.

The fire department measures precipitation at all eight of the Abilene fire stations.
