Woman Pleads Out After Slapping Toddler

An Abilene women pleads out of court after being accused of slapping a 2-year-old child repeatedly.

Jessica Perkins was arrested in June of 2011 for slapping the child several times in the face and head.

According to court documents, it happened after the child threw a tantrum.

Perkins was set to go to court next week, but took a plea deal instead.

She'll pay a $1,500 fine and serve eight years on probation.
