Grammy Winning Violinist Timothy Ying Visits Hardin Simmons University

Just days after the Grammy Awards were seen here on KTAB, a Grammy winning Violinist was on the campus of Hardin-Simmons University. Several music students were selected to spend time practicing with him. Violinist Timothy Ying stopped by Hardin Simmons to conduct a master's music class where he worked with students chosen by Dr. Peter Isaacson, Director of the HSU Orchestra. Timothy Ying won a Grammy for Best Classical Crossover Recording. Both Ying and Dr. Isaacson attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
