Abilene Man Sentenced for Aggravated Assault

The man who was found inside the Abilene Animal Shelter last summer was in court Thursday on another charge.

Last July, police say Bradley Caskey was found without a shirt and intoxicated near the horses at the animal shelter.

He got into a verbal altercation with the employee and was in the process of leaving when police found him and charged him with public intoxication.

Thursday, he was sentenced to three years probation on an unrelated aggravated assault charge.

The judge did note three other public intoxication charges and warned Caskey to stay out of trouble.
