Young love--innocent, sweet, and even a bit naive at times.

"Your heart is beeping to have love", says kindergarten student, Zaidyn Hernandez.

"Somebody likes me if they do a flip", explains Wyatt Hutsell, fellow kindergartner.

For a day the crayons went away, and the veils and bow ties came out in full force in Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class.

"We are learning the letter 'Q' and how the letter 'Q' always needs the letter 'U' in order to make a word. So 'Q' and 'U' are getting married today", Allison Smith, Bonham teacher, tells us.

And it seems as though the lesson is resonating.

"'Q' always has to have 'U' but 'U' doesn't always need 'Q'", says Hernandez.

A wedding ceremony truly drove the lesson plan home, to bring 'Q' and 'U' together, forever in grammatical matrimony.

Complete with a walk down the aisle, taking vows for their vocabulary, and finally, sealing it all with a hug, it was time to celebrate.

"We are talking about weddings and traditions in class, and some of my students have not seen or been to a real wedding before, and so we thought this would be a great way to show them", says Smith.

While the kindergarten marriages may be a bit questionable, quiet, or even quixotic, a literary love  than spans A to Z, now unites the whole kindergarten class.
