Abilene police have arrested a woman on charges that she endangered the health of her child.

Abilene police charged 22-year-old Lacey Spykes after her child had to be rushed to Hendrick Medical Center and, police say,  tests showed that the child had ingested methamphetamine.

The doctors at Hendrick worked to stabilize the 13-month-old boy, and then transferred him to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.

The arrest records show that Spykes and her boyfriend both acknowledged that they used methamphetamine in the child's presence.

People like this should be hung from a cross, dowsed with gas, and lit on fire.
