HSU Says Hello To Classic Broadway Musical

It's a musical that took front and center on the Broadway stage, won Tony awards, and was adapted in Hollywood with icon Barbara Streisand.

Now, Hardin Simmons University Theatre department is taking the hugely popular show, "Hello Dolly" and bringing it to the Abilene audience.

Director Dean Nolen felt that bringing a classic show would be a great practice for the students and the audience. Ellen Eberhardt who plays Dolly Levi, and Jeremiah Johnson who plays Horace Vandergelder were also on KTAB 4u and discussed their experience preparing for their roles.

"It's just a fun and musical and everyone loves it," adds Eberhardt.
