This week we've been telling you about a break-in on Kirkwood Street in north Abilene. A Man was assaulted by men wearing masks, armed with guns and knives. We have showed you the blood on the outside of the house, on the door and the window, but that's nothing compared to what the inside of the house looks like and the injuries the victim sustained.

Refugio Garcia Sena has 39 staples on his head, countless stitches on his face, chin and ears, and a massive cut that separated his thumb from his hand. It all happened Tuesday Morning when he heard a knock on the door. He said they beat him with a hammer and pointed a shot gun at him. "They were all wearing masks and hats or bandanas" says Sena. He said they beat him with a hammer and pointed a shot gun at him. All he could do was protect himself and fight back when he could. He says the attack lasted for what seemed like 5 to 10 minutes.

It wasn't until they started talking about tying him up that he said he just ran. "They tried to tie me up with duct tape. When I heard that is when, I guess, I pushed one to the side. I don't remember exactly but I busted through the window." He had jumped out a closed living room window and then just started yelling for help. The men left in a black SUV and Sena spent two days in the hospital recovering.

When asked why he thought this happened he replied, "The cops asked me 'Do you owe drugs to anybody?' and I said no. I don't do that stuff...I mean, I drink, but that's it." He says he still does not know why or who did this to him"
