Lady Badgers End Jim Ned's Season

The Merkel Lady Badgers ended Jim Ned's run in the playoffs with a nine point victory at Kimbrell Arena on Friday night.
Jim Ned was able to strike first, but the Lady Badgers quickly took over the lead. The Lady Indians were able to stay in the game early thanks to shots by Blythe Weatherly.
Then the Lady Badgers found their rhythm on offense. First with a three pointer by Ciara Cope. A short time later with a transition lay-up by Macy Mays.
Those two baskets would help the Lady Badgers build a sizable lead, and help them move on to the next round with a 60-51 victory.
