A thick cloud shelf out there this morning should give way to a few peeks of sunshine throughout the day today. Temperatures will end up being cooler than yesterday behind the cold front only getting into the lower 60's.

Tonight we will see increased clouds and temperatures making it down into the 40's. Out in front of a cold front we may see a few sprinkles develop overnight tonight.

As we get into tomorrow those rain chances will really begin to pick up and we will see showers filling in across much of the Big Country with a 60% chance of rain everywhere and temperatures remaining chilly in the low 50's.

These showers will all be preceding a front, and as that front passes through the area overnight tomorrow night into Thursday morning, a squall line is looking like it will develop and we will have to be cautious of this line becoming severe. We are in fact under a Slight Risk for severe weather as issued by the Storm Prediction Center.

Thursday the showers should come to a close near midday and then we may see some sunshine for the afternoon with temperatures making it back into the mid 60's.

Friday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low 60's and the weekend is shaping up to be dry and sunny with temperatures slowly warming back near 70 by Sunday.
