breaking news
An area of low pressure is brewing just to our
west, and will make its way into our neck of the woods starting tonight and
exiting the region by Thursday morning.
Round one will bring light to moderate rainfall to the Big Country and
Heartland, with up to a quarter of an inch expected. Showers and storms will be scattered in nature tomorrow, with
better chances for rain Wednesday night into Thursday morning. The bulk of the activity will develop out
ahead of a cold front, starting off isolated in nature, before forming a line
and rolling eastward. Some of the
storms within the line could become severe, with large hail and damaging winds
the main threats. Once the system is said
with and done, we could see up to an inch of rainfall. Behind the system sunshine will prevail with
highs in the 60's.
