A thick cloud shelf out there this Tuesday morning should give way to a few peeks of sunshine throughout the day today.

Temperatures will end up being cooler than Monday behind the cold front only getting into the lower 60s.

Tuesday night, we will see increased clouds and temperatures making it down into the 40s.

Out in front of a cold front we may see a few sprinkles develop overnight tonight. As we get into Wednesday, those rain chances will really begin to pick up and we will see showers filling in across much of the Big Country with a 60 percent chance of rain everywhere and temperatures remaining chilly in the low 50s.

These showers will all be preceding a front, and as that front passes through the area overnight tomorrow night into Thursday morning, a squall line is looking like it will develop and we will have to be cautious of this line becoming severe.

We are in fact under a Slight Risk for severe weather as issued by the Storm Prediction Center.

Thursday, the showers should come to a close near midday and then we may see some sunshine for the afternoon with temperatures making it back into the mid 60s.

Friday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low 60s and the weekend is shaping up to be dry and sunny with temperatures slowly warming.
