Widespread rain throughout the day today. Mainly overcast skies with possibly a few breaks in the clouds as the cold front approaches. We should go through a lull of rain this afternoon with temperatures getting into the low 50's today.

Overnight tonight the cold front shows up and a line of storms is expected to pass through and it looks like it may have the potential to go severe. Temperatures this evening should fall into the mid 40's.

Tomorrow the sun will return as most all of the precipitation should be out of the forecast by the morning commute and then temperatures get back to the mid 60's.

The effects of the cold front are really felt as we head into Friday with a cold start and sunny skies but temperatures only getting into the low 50's.

By the weekend though, we warm up pretty rapidly and make it back into the mid 60's for both Saturday and Sunday under sunny skies.

It looks like the first part of next week should be dry with temperatures right around average in the low 60's.
