The 5th ranked Wylie Bulldogs are finally getting back on the floor for a game that counts.

The Bulldogs clinched the District 4-3A championship almost 2 weeks ago, and they didn't have to play a game in the 1st round of the playoffs. So after a long delay, the Bulldogs are preparing to get in the fight to play a game that matters on Friday night.

"We've just been resting and getting everyone healthy again. We're preparing for our next games. They're the biggest games we've played yet so, we're getting ready for them," Says Seth Hymer.

"Playoff are a different routine anyway, so that knocks you off a routine, but that's what you want. It's an exciting time of year. Our kids, most of them experienced a bunch of playoff games last year and we're going to be ready to play and get after it and hopefully we will have a good night," adds Head Coach Russell Perkins.

Wylie is headed north to Frenship High School, up near Lubbock, where they will take on Pampa. They will tip at 7:30.
