Update

Cisco, Olden and Carbon firefighters will continue to investigate the cause of a fire that destroyed a two-story home that had been vacant for several years.

Bonnie Williams, the owner of the home tells us she had been recently renovating it, but only visited it a few times a year.

She has no insurance on the home and says no utilities were on at the time.

Witnesses told her and police they saw several children coming out of the home before hearing what sounded like an explosion.

Walter Fairbanks, the Cisco Fire Chief tells us, however, those reports for now are just rumors.

Firefighters are investigating whether or not the fire was caused by arson.

More information, including the cause, will follow when available.

Original Story

Reports are coming in of a house fire due to a possible explosion in Cisco on Avenue A and East 9 street.

Two stories are fully engulfed in flames.

Emergency responders are there now fighting the blaze and it is reported that smoke can be seen for miles from the fire.

We'll have more information as it becomes available.
