Abilene is becoming more gluten-free savvy. Our Megan Dobbs knows, since she lives with Celiac disease.

And with more people than ever developing auto-immune disorders, she's going to start showing you some places in the Abilene area that are gluten-free friendly.

First up, The Flipping Egg.

For you who are not gluten-free, don't worry, this place has comfort food with plenty of wheat, but just offers gluten-free options

Some of the Flipping Egg's gluten free options include chicken fried steak, pancakes, waffles, fried chicken, burgers, sandwiches. All of their salads are organic and the dressing made in-house and also gluten-free.

They're about to start making their personal pies this spring and you can get those with or without gluten.
