The Wylie Bulldogs moved on to the next round with a convincing victory over Pampa on Friday night.

The Bulldogs were able to jump out to a fast start thanks to a steal by Deandre Key. That would help set up a Mike Lopez at the other end.

A short time later, Duane Hopper would add to that lead with a jump-shot. The Bulldogs would run out to a quick 7-0 lead with that basket.

Wylie was also getting a lot done on the glass Friday night. A rebound by Sterling Bristow would set up a Daron Davis bucket to give the Bulldogs a 16-9 lead after the first quarter.

Eventually the Bulldogs would stretch that lead to 38 points, as they cruised to a 73-35 victory over Pampa.

Up next for Wylie will be Seminole on Tuesday night in Big Spring at 6 p.m.
