For the most part the game was a back and forth affair. Cecilia Balencia would get the Lady Eagles within one point after a steal and a lay-up.
The Lady Stallions would quickly answer with a basket by Imari Bell to give Triple A Academy a three point advantage.
Goldthwate on the other hand was finding ways to get baskets from outside the paint. A three-pointer by Jacey Neely would tie the game at 25 a piece.
From there the Lady Stallions would outscore Goldthwaite 14-2 down the stretch and pick up the 39-27 victory.
