People Flock To Stock Up On Guns and Ammo At Gun and Blade Show

Guns and ammo continue to be popular items that are quickly running out.
That was proven at the "Silver Spur Gun and Blade show" over at the Taylor Co. expo center .
Workers tell us the place was packed as early as 9 a.m when the show began.
This particular show is held twice a year and this one may just be their busiest yet.
The organizer of the event says guns and ammo are not only getting more expensive, but are much harder to find.
"The increase in pricing is because of were not able to order it and get it in like we used to and when we do get anything the prices have increased in that manner too and that's reloading components and guns and everything," said Kim Sansom, who organized the event.
Both gun and ammo prices have doubled and in some cases even tripled in the past few months, so shoppers are stocking up to make sure they get them while they last.
"The guns don't cause the problems it's the people behind them and I see a lot of people in Washington are trying to blame the guns and are trying to disarm us and I'm going to stand up because my second amendment rights are very important to me," said Danny Burks, an avid hunter who attended the show.
Burks isn't the only one who's stocking up, this year more people from out of town showed up for this event.
They're coming from never before seen places like Lubbock and San Angelo.
Just so you can get a grasp at how much the demand is right now, a rifle that normally would cost you $800 is most likely already up to $1600.
