breaking news
Cold air and strong winds will wrap around an
area of low pressure today, dropping temperatures and making it feel even
colder than it actually is. Wind speeds
will be anywhere between 20 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 60. There is a Blizzard Warning for King County,
primarily due strong winds, which will lower visibilities. There is a slight chance those of us north
of I-20 could see light snow this afternoon, but again the chance is pretty
slim. No accumulations are expected in
the Big Country. However, that is not
the case in the panhandle, where more than a foot of snow is possible. Temperatures will fall throughout the day,
hitting the mid 30's by sunset.
Overnight lows will be in the lower 30's Tuesday morning, however, wind
chills will be in the 20's and teens.
Highs tomorrow will be warmer than today with temperatures in the upper
50's. Sunshine returns on Tuesday and
will stick around for the majority of the workweek. Another cold front moves through the Big Country Tuesday night,
dropping temperatures for the remainder of the week.
