Power Outage Closes South Branch Abilene Library Monday

The South Branch of the Abilene Public Library, located at 1401 South Danville, is currently without power after a delivery truck damaged power poles directly behind the branch earlier Monday. 

The South Branch is expected to reopen Tuesday morning and resume normal business hours at 9 a.m.

Citizens wishing to visit another branch of the Abilene Public Library can visit the library's other branches.

The Main Branch is located at 202 Cedar St. and the Mockingbird Branch is located at 1214 North Mockingbird.
