The Jim Ned Indians continued to play well in the postseason on Friday night.

They picked up playoff win number 2 of the year over 13th ranked Breckenridge.

The Indians are trying to return to the Regional Tournament for the 2nd year in a row, and they say they are playing some of their best basketball of the season right now.

By the way, that is a good thing.

"Yeah and that's kind of tough with a senior heavy class that's playe so many games. You don't want to peak too early. So, staying on top of things, and continuing to improve on things is a challenge," said head coach Steve Bryant.

"The big games aren't as nerve racking as they used to be when we were younger. Sophomore year we got pretty nervous before playoff games. So, being a senior and having a lot of experience really helps this year," said senior forward Will Bryant.

"I think that's what gets us through this time of year. Each opponent gives us a different look. We prepare for that look and it keeps everything fresh," said Coach Bryant.

The Indians play the 1st game of a doubleheader in Big Spring on Tuesday night.

They take on Tornillo in the regional quarterfinals at 5:30. The winner goes to Midland.
